Signup for updates on the UWN SHSS island

Hello!

Just to let you know that I've now set up a separate news feed & e-mail subscription service for news about the Second Life Island that I'm working on.

So if you are interested, please feel free to visit the news page and then sign up via RSS or e-mail if you so wish.

All further news about the Second Life island will be sent via these new news feeds as opposed to this one.

Many thanks,

Paul.

New Second Life site set up

Hello.

Just a quick post to let you know that I've launched a new Second Life site to go with the work I'm doing in my job at Newport University.

Basically I'm building an island for the University's School of Health and Social Sciences that will be used by students and lecturers to enhance teaching and learning.

Eventually it will be open to the public as well to allow prospective students and interested parties to come and take a look at the work we do within the school both at home and overseas.

The URL to the site is: http://sites.google.com/site/secondlifeuwnshss/

I'll post another message out once the island itself goes live.

Cheers!

Paul.

Gladinet added to Online File Storage

A link to Gladinet has been added to the Online File Storage page.

Gladinet lets you access your Windows Live Skydrive (and Google docs) as if they were local files & folders.

You can watch a video of it in action here.

Cheers!

Paul.

Google Forms page updated

The Google Forms page has been updated so that it links to a better YouTube video and a text based "How To" guide.

You can view the updated page here: http://sites.google.com/site/technologyenhancedlearning/questionnaires-forms

My thanks go to Dr Julian Green in the School of Heath & Social Sciences at Newport University for sending these resources my way!

That's all for now.

Cheers!

Paul.
