Moving blogs!

Hello!

I'm moving the updates blog into the main website itself so this blog will no longer be updated.

I've updated the Feedburner subscriptions to point to the new blog, so if you are subscribed via Email you should continue to get the new updates without having to do anything.

You can also get updates via Facebook & Twitter if you like, the links to do that are all on the "Stay Updated" page.

Cheers!

Paul.

E-portfolios & using the iPod to blog and broadcast audio & video AND a new site podcast!

New section added: e-portfolios

I've finally added an e-portfolio page to the site, originally I left it off because I couldn't find a solution that met my needs, i.e. a free open source scalable soloution that allows students to create and manage their own online portfolios easily.

However,I recently came across the Googlios project and it's exactly what was looking for so I've added it to the site.

Added to ipod touch page:

  • Justin.tv - Stream live video from your ipod touch to the web.
  • Twitcasting - Stream live video or audio from your ipod touch to the web.
  • Audioboo - Create podcasts from your ipod.
  • Posterous - Create a blog and post to it via the ipod.

Finally I've decided to start using Audio Boo to create little podcasts that, I hope, will provide give a little bit more of an insight into why certain websites and resources have been added to my website & also explain how I hope to use them with staff and/or students.

You can subscribe to the podcasts here: http://audioboo.fm/Pauls_elearning

That's all for today!

Cheers!
